I was extremely fortunate to work with Eric for 10 years in Leicester and then persuaded him out of retirement to come and spend a day a week with me in Tipton. He was supportive, honest and the perfect sounding board for the many hair brained ideas that I would throw at him. He would never say no but would simply offer a look that said I think you need to reconsider that..... Nobody had a bad word to say about Eric and he was always the 'go to' person for the Team. He took great pride in his work but also liked nothing more than dressing up in his Santa outfit at Christmas to distribute the secret Santa gifts to everyone. He was the perfect person to have beside you, our Audit Partner referred to Eric and myself as the 'A Team' which I would certainly never have been without him. I will miss Eric very much along with everyone else that was lucky enough to know the great Gentleman that he was..... Gary
